this exercise is designed to focus on the experience of the listener, not on mindfulness and it implications for any type of treatment.
After watching Episode 1 and the other video that you chose, please let readers know what additional video you watched and then answer the following prompts:
What do you think might be some of the ways that mindfulness, or a mindfulness -based approach by a listener, could help the listener to be more attentive?
How do some of the tenets of mindfulness practice coincide with what you are learning in the readings for the class?
Then, for the second video, provide a short summary of what you learned by watching the video, particularly as it applies to using listening skills and being present as a listener.

PROCESS RECORDING A process recording is a written tool used in field education

PROCESS RECORDING
A process recording is a written tool used in field education to examine the dynamics of social work interactions. Process recordings can help in developing and refining interviewing and intervention skills. By conceptualizing and organizing ongoing activities with social work clients, you can clarify the purpose of interviews and interventions, identify personal and professional strengths and weaknesses, and improve self-awareness. The process recording is a useful tool in exploring the interpersonal dynamics and values operating between you and the client system through an analysis of filtering the process used in recording a session.
