During humanitarian actions, an effective and timely response should be made a standard. In CHS 1, the response to this evaluation is appropriate and relevant. It is important to note that this criterion stresses the importance of making humanitarian efforts appropriate and relevant. In CHS 2, there is a focus on the design and implementation of an effective and prompt response. It is imperative that an effective and prompt response is always made a standard practice during humanitarian operations. In CHS 4, there is a requirement for communication, involvement, and feedback. Coordinating and collaborating as well as responding quickly and effectively is impossible without effective communication. Furthermore, CHS 5 focuses on effective complaint mechanisms, which to me is of the utmost importance. People receiving assistance do not wish to hear any complaints so long as they remain in receipt of assistance, so complaints are frequently ignored. It is still the most common cause for complaints to be welcomed and addressed that are not addressed because, as long as assistance is delivered to the people in need, they do not want to receive any complaints.
A collection of commitments known as the Core Humanitarian Standards is a resource that humanitarian organizations and individuals may use in order to improve the efficacy and quality of their aid efforts. In accordance with one of the commitments, communities affected by a crisis would receive assistance that is appropriate and relevant to their needs. The term “crisis” refers to a variety of events such as famine, conflict, flooding, or even illnesses. As a second matter, disaster-affected communities and individuals should be able to access humanitarian assistance as soon as possible. When help is delivered at the right time, more individuals are saved from a crisis. The community is harmed more as a whole as a result. Thirdly, well-managed employees and volunteers are capable of providing crucial assistance to organizations and individuals affected by crises, resulting in more efficient and ethical assistance being provided. The Complex Humanitarian Emergency (CHE) is a type of disaster involving a combination of medical, social, and occasionally political factors which result in significant human suffering and death and necessitate external assistance (Kodama et al., 2021). I want to use an example from Lebanon as an example. The WHO collaborates with other organizations in order to provide assistance to Lebanon. Among these efforts are caring for the injured, providing health services that are essential and life-saving, offering mental health support to community members, re-constructing wrecked facilities, and fighting COVID-19 through increases in testing and treatment the purchase of desperately needed medications, and the safeguarding of health care personnel.
